[VMS] Colorado impresses visitors with sport kit

Customers purchasing the new Colorado will be gifted a limited Chevrolet-genuine sport kit including a trunk pad, decorative sport bar with trunk cover, LED daylight and front bumper protective cover. This kit makes Colorado more attractive to customers.

The new Colorado comes with 255mm tire and 17-inch rim which creates great traction and weather adaptability while at the same time increases safety. With a ground clearance of 216mm, the new Colorado can overcome most tough and challenging terrain with ease.

Colorado retains prominent exterior features such as the adjustable, indicator-integrated mirror, LED taillight, converging headlight and 3D grille and air filter. Chrome-plated details on heat-radiator, door knob, rear bumper, headlight, fog light and mirror cover makes the car more luxurious.

Sport-kit Colorado is the first Chevrolet model in Vietnam to be equipped with the exclusive multimedia system MyLink. The car’s 7-inch touchscreen can be connected with smartphone through USB connection or Bluetooth. MyLink is capable of supporting users to make calls, search through contact list and watch DVD/MP3/MP4. Leather-covered steering wheel is integrated with audio control and hand-free call features.

Chevrolet Colorado is equipped with 6-speed manual transmission and Duramax 2.8L 4-cylinder diesel engine’s new generation capable of producing 193HP at 3.600rpm and 440Nm at 2.000rpm, thus making it the most powerful engine in Vietnam’s pickup truck segment. CRDi, VGT and air-cooler are also available to create optimal capacity and maximum efficiency between rpm and the balance shaft, resulting in smoother operation. The equipments ensure smooth operation, increased engine life, reduced fuel consumption reduced noise transmitted to the cabin. Colorado’s CO2 emission is down by 13% compared to other diesel model while its fuel consumption is only at 8.5L/100km (in standard condition).

Driver can easily switch between 2WD and 4WD by pressing a mere button even when the car is operating at 120km/h in different driving conditions. In addition to 2 airbags and the ABS, Colorado also comes with rear collision warning that helps detect obstacle when you are reverse parking. Another highlight in Colorado’s safety feature is the LSD that prevents circumstances when force is allocated in mainly one wheel. LSD helps distribute force to 2 wheels at same speed allowing the car to quickly escape from tight situations.
