Hundred of bikes to parade for the traffic opening of HCM city – Dau Giay route

On the morning of February 8^th, 2015, at the Dau Giay tollbooth (Thong Nhat district, Dong Nai province), the Ministry of Transport held the traffic opening ceremony of the 55km highway connecting HCM city – Long Thanh – Dau Giay. Hundred of bikes have attended the ceremony, parading all along the route.

It is known that this is the most modern highway in Vietnam with an investment of nearly 21 trillion VND, connecting HCM city and Dong Nai. It is designed with A-highway standards for a maximum travelling speed of 120km/h.

Attended the ceremony were Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the Minister of Transport, Mr. Dinh La Thang. In addition, hundreds of bikers from HCM city have come for the parade that ended with a round stroll around HCM city center. The bikers are from bike clubs such as H.O.G Saigon, the HCM city Motor Club, the HCM city Offroad Club, Motor Tan Binh club, Binh Duong, Bien Hoa club…

The bikes they brought to the ceremony came from nearly all automakers, including Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki… and even some impressive offroad pickups were there. The parade has caught the attention of both traffic participants and families living and working nearby.
