HOG Hanoi: 5 years with unchanged love for Harley-Davidson

On January 3^rd, 2015, the Harley Davidson Hanoi club (HOG Hanoi) has celebrated its 5 years-old birthday. The birthday party took place in an atmosphere of intimacy and warmth with an equally excitement thanks to the appearance of unique and valuable models.

The club’s 5-year birthday party was organized with quite a large scale in Harley-Davidson style. 20 motor clubs from all over the country such as Side Car, BMW, Thanh Hoa, Yen Bai, Da Nang, Quang Ngai, Phu Yen, Da Lat, HOG Saigon… and especially 10 members from its brother Saigon Free Chapter who just performed a journey through Vietnam (from HCM city to Hanoi) have gathered here for the party.

Also at the party, HOG Hanoi representative has awarded memorial medals to individuals who contributed to the foundation of HOG Hanoi. In addition, motor clubs around the country have also exchanged flags with HOG Hanoi while sharing their passion on motorbikes.

At the party, HOG Hanoi has organized many exciting activities, especially the charity auction with the painting made of jewelry that featured the club’s logo – one of the club’s present for its birthday. Starting at a price of 10 million VND, after dozen or so announcement, the painting is purchased by a member at the price of 50 million VND.

Also according to HOG Hanoi representative, the mentioned-above 50 million along with money collected from other auctioned items will be donated to orphans of SOS Vietnam Children’s Village. The club also raised fund from its members for charitable activities in the Lunar New Year.

Since its foundation in 2012, the club has actively participated in many charitable activities. In 2012, the club has donated clothes and bicycles to poor children in Son La province. In 2013, the club, in coordination with HCM city’s Police newspaper has donated 126 bicycles to children in Tuong Duong Nghe An and organized a Mid-Autumn festival for poor children in Yen Bai province…

According to Mr. Vinh “Tan Dao” – HOG Hanoi president and a famous motorbike enthusiast in Vietnam, HOG Hanoi is the home for Harley Davidson enthusiasts and is also a playground for those who are fond of sharing, communicating and doing social activities together.
