Deploying broad training for A2 driving license tester

According to information from the Department of Transport, broad training for people wishing to learn and take an A2 driving license (for motorcycle over 175 cm3) will be implemented from March the 1st, 2014.

As demand for A2 driving license is still low, the Department has proposed a limitation of 2 A2 training and testing center to the Ministry of Transport for each provinces to avoid wasting the investment (5 for Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh city).

Also the Department of Transport is currently adjusting the question set used in A2 theory test, from 450 to 365 questions, among which are 145 questions about concepts and traffic rules, 25 about ethics while driving, 100 about road signs, 95 about real situation.

The theory testing software for A2 includes 20 random questions from the 365 questions set. Testing time is 15 minutes, passing score 18/20 with each question worths 1 point, test motorcycles must have a cylinder capacity of over 250 cm3 with manually controlled clutch.
