Yamaha to release Nouvo Fi 2015 at 33.9 million VND

Nouvo Fi 2015 has its appearance redesigned with multiple new features included including navigation key and remote control.

Nouvo has been in circulation for 12 years in Vietnam motorcycle market and has become one of Yamaha’s key products. According to Yamaha’s survey, currently Nouvo occupies 14% market share of scooter in Vietnam. The product is designed for the target customer of over-20-years-old men in big cities.

The 2015 version is Nouvo’s 6^th gen carrying a new idea toward a “modern, advanced and stylish” scooter. Overall, Nouvo offers the same operational performance similar to previous gens. Along with a standard edition, the RC version and the GP version with the additional features of navigation key and remote control will also be included.

Unlike Grande, Nouvo Fi 2015 is still equipped with previous gens’ engine capable of producing 7.8KW/10.5Nm with a liquid cooling system. The fuel injection system and actuator are also designed to create a feeling of smooth and stable acceleration at high speed. Nouvo’s frame remains light yet solid.

Nouvo’s front continues to create impression with a large headlight cluster using high-end Projector light. A new point in this gen’s design is the headlight cluster is slightly higher compared to previous version, resulting in further illumination. 2 white LED lights are also added on the 2 sides of the headlight. The rear’s new design also employs high-end LED lights which highlights the motorcycle even further.

The most prominent feature introduced on this Nouvo’s gen is the navigation key function for the RC and GP version. This feature allows users to find their vehicle easier in dark and large parking area. By pressing the button only once, the car will emit sound and the signal indicator will automatically turn on to indicate the location of the motorcycle. If you hold the button a little longer, the protective barrier for the lock will automatically open with LED lights illuminate the keyhole for users to insert their key. This advanced feature is not only convenience for users but also creates a proud feeling for them.

The dashboard receives a new meter and border. White LED lights are employed instead of the original red which brings a feeling of luxury and convenience for users. Prominent features of Nouvo’s previous gens also appeared on the 6^th gen, including large-size tire specifically designed for Nouvo, electronic-safety strut, spacious trunk…

The price for the standard version of Nouvo as well as the RC and GP version are 33.9 million, 35.9 million and 36.4 million VND respectively. To conclude, with a new appearance, the 6^th gen’s price is a little lower compared to previous versions, thanks to the fact that the YMJET-FI engine can now be locally assembled (instead of importing like before).
