[VMS] Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe to be priced at 7.19 billion VND

Most prominent in Mercedes-Benz Vietnam’s booth this year is the totally new S-Class Coupe: S500 4MATIC Coupe, which receives the attention of numerous visitors.

Only one version of the S-Class Coupe is introduced to Vietnamese customers and it is the S500 4MATIC Coupe, which is CBU-imported and not assembled in Vietnam like the S-Class Sedan models. S500 4MATIC Coupe is the embodiment of the design language “Sensual Purity” with the characteristic rear-slope curve, lowered passenger compartment, raised bodylines and muscular rear wheel arches.

The highlight of S500 4MATIC Coupe is 94 Swarovski crystals on the smart LED headlights, each being a masterpiece with 17 crystals on LED daylight and 30 on indicator. S500 4MATIC Coupe’s length x width x height is 5.027 x 1.899 x 1.411 mm respectively with a wheelbase of 2.945mm, 9mm shorter than S-Class Sedan but much longer and wider than CL-Class – the model replaced by S500 4MATIC Coupe itself. S500 4MATIC Coupe’s taillight is narrow and small similar to SLS AMG’s while the muscular wheel arch, sporty AMG-style front and rear bumper create a rather fascinating look.

In general, S500 4MATIC Coupe’s design is more compact and clearer compared to the sedan version. In term of interior, the cockpit is designed similarly to that of the S-Class sedan with many high-end features such as the 1520W, top-level Burmester 3D surrounding audio system consists of 24 speakers, hot-stone massaging seat, 4 perfumes manufactured by the expert Marc Vom Ende, GPS with Vietnam’s 3D map, Night View Assist Plus, SPLITVIEW screen and 360-degree camera. Passengers can get into the backseat with a simple push in the front seat which will automatically move the front seat to the front, and vice versa. In particular, S500 4MATIC Coupe possesses a sunroof which occupies 2/3 of the roof’s area.

S500 4MATIC Coupe is equipped with a V8 4.7L TwinTurbo capable of producing 339kW (455hp) and 700Nm as torque, together with the AWD 4MATIC that accelerates the car from 0 to 100km/h in 4.6 seconds.

The AIRMATIC air suspension with 2 modes “Sport” and “Comfort” helps drivers to experience the “true” feeling of driving a Coupe or the S-Class characteristic comfortable smooth operation by pressing only 1 button. S500 4MATIC Coupe is priced at 7.19 billion VND (VAT included).
