TMV to launch new Corolla Altis with unchanged price

Toyota Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. (TMV) just announced the introduction of the New Corolla Altis 2016 with improvements to increase more benefits for customers.  The sedan has gone on sales at all TMV’s dealers nationwide from 17^th May 2016.

In order to meet more diversified demand of customers, Corolla Altis 2016 has some improvements such as outside rear view mirror with electronic fold and auto fold, same color with the car, DVD 7 inche with HDMI, Wifi, and controllable by voice on 2.0V CVT, color multi information display for all grades. New Corolla Altis targets at private customers, younger than ones of the previous generation.

The All-new Corolla Altis’s package projects a sense of new value with extensions in the wheelbase (an increase of 100mm in overall length and 15mm in overall width) and the reduction in the total short overhangs to express a dynamic structure and to provide passengers with better comfort and enhances drivability. Overall height has been reduced by 5mm for excellent aerodynamic and handling stability.

The All new Altis’s interior is designed with theme of “ICONIC DYNAMISM”. A newly designed combination switch is adopted to enhance visibility and operability. With black as the overall theme, a highly contrasting color scheme has been achieved through the combination of high brightness silver and piano black, thus creating a sharp looking interior space. A luxurious feeling made by the harmony of colors & materials used inside the cabin.

All grades are standardized with Auto cut Headlamp and Remote Trunk Lid opener. Automatic A/C is now available not only on 2.0V CVT-i but also on 1.8G CVT. 2.0V CVT-i, meanwhile comes with Automatic EC mirror & Automatic Headlamp levelizer. New audio system with additional Bluetooth function for 1.8 V CVT & MT is adopted.

The Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) of 1.8G has been redeveloped to provide optimal driving force, as well as responsive and sporty feel. The re-tuned 2ZR (1.8G) & 3ZR (2.0V) engines generate maximum power of 138HP at 6400 rpm & max torque of 173Nm at 4000 rpm, and 143HP at 6200 & max torque of 187Nm at 3600 rpm respectively, same as previous generation.

Excellent safety performance has been achieved to bring the feeling of Peace of Mind in Altis 2014 both active & passive way.  Brake booster characteristics have been changed to enhance the brake feeling, with ventilated disc brake for front wheels and Solid disc brake for rear wheel. ABS (Anti-lock Brake System),EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution), BA (Brake Assist) are standardized for all grades.

First time ever, Corolla 2.0V is now available with VSC (Vehicle Stability Control), TRC (Traction Control), Back Monitor & Corner Sensors. Immobilizer has also been added to 1.8G CVT & MT.

With new Altis, TMV expects to bring more and more competitive product as well as best after sales services and benefits to the consumers in VN by new improvements but no change in price:
