TMV to achieve subtle growth in 2015 October

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) just officially announces, in Oct 2015, sales volume of Toyota vehicles reached 4,372 units, increased 5.5% compared to the same month last year.

The North consumed 1,909 units (44%), the Centre consumed 573 units (13%), and the South consumed 1,890 units (43%). Accordingly, in the first 10 months of 2015, sales volume of Toyota vehicles reached a total of 40,516 units, increased 27% (8,553 units) compared with the same period in 2014.

In Oct 2015, sales volume of passenger cars segment reached 2,154 units, slightly lower compared to the same month last year. Taking the leading position in sales volume was the all-new Vios with 1,177 units, increased 55% compared with same month last year. Following are the Camry 2015 with 401 and Corolla Altis with 344 vehicles delivered to the customers.

Meanwhile, sales volume of commercial vehicles segment reached 2,218 units. In which, taking the leading position was Innova with 965 units and Fortuner with 811 units sold out, accounting for 36% and 43%; respectively, of total sales volume of the CV segment.

Sales of the model imported and distributed by TMV (CBU) recorded impressive sales of the all new Hilux 2015 which was introduced in early October. Compared with previous generation, the all-new Hilux advances its unrivalled pedigree, returning squarely to its origin as a segment innovator to set a higher standard for the category. Hilux 2015 expected to open a new era for pickups with tough design and SUV-like driving comfort and advanced safety.

As a result, nearly one month after its launch, the new Hilux gradually regaining its position in the pickup segment with 203 units are delivered to customers. Other CBU sales respectively as follows: Land Cruiser Prado: 171 units, Hiace: 27 vehicles, Land Cruiser reached 41 units. Particularly Yaris new generation 2014 continued to receive love from customers with 231 cars delivered to customers in October.

Sales result of Lexus Vehicles

In October, there were 45 Lexus car delivered to the customers. This figure brought the total Lexus sales in the first 10 months of the year up to 818 vehicles (294% compare with same period last year). Currently, Lexus Vietnam distribute total 8 models: 4 sedans ES350, ES250, GS350, LS460L and 4 SUV: RX350, LX570, GX460, NX200t through 2 official Dealers: Lexus Centre Sai Gon (HCM) and Lexus Thang Long (Hanoi).
