Subaru Forester 2016 official introduced to Vietnam market

On the 22^nd of April, 2016, Image Vietnam – official and exclusive distributor of Subaru in Vietnam, unveiled the 2016 version of Subaru Forester. The SUV is still offered with 2 different versions 2.0i-L và 2.0XT in Vietnam.

Forester 2016 retains its original dimensions from earlier versions. However, its overall design is slightly reworked by Subaru engineers for a sharper and more exquisite look. Specifically, new design of bi-xenon headlights that now includes adaptive headlight feature somewhat refreshes the front fascia. Taillight also sees some minor tweaks.

Overall dimensions of the SUV remain the same with length x width x height reaches 4.595 x 1.795 x 1.735 mm respectively. At least the 18-inch wheels are totally new in term of design.

Meanwhile, Subaru Forester 2016’s interior also sees similar general design compared to its predecessor with leather and soft-touch plastic used widely to provide a harmonious appearance. The LCD main media screen is supported by another 4,3 inch LCD screen to better provide general information of the SUV such as its operational status. The body frame is reinforced to provide more rigidity and safety along with the 6 airbags integrated inside. In addition, noise-insulated materials are also used to provide a more smooth and quiet experience for occupants. A premium 8-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system is now offered as an optional choice.Subaru Forester 2016 also offers some new features such as the X-Mode driving mode.

Forester 2016 again makes use of a Boxer 4-cylinder DOHC engine with DIT techniliogy and direct fuel injection, which provides maximum power at 240 hp (5.600 rpm) and max torque at 350 Nm (2.400 – 3.600 rpm). Max speed of the SUV is 221 km/h in optimal condition. 0-100 acceleration in 7,5 seconds and fuel consumption is 8,5L/100km.

The 2.0i-L version and the 2.0XT version are priced at 1,445 million VND and 1,666 million VND respectively.
