SLS AMG made a surprise appearance in HCM city

The supercar from Mercedes-Benz – the SLS AMG with its “winged door” has unexpectedly appeared in the Vietnam Star Phu My Hung dealer in District 7 of HCM city. The car is priced at 11.8 billion VND currently.

This is the second supercar unveiled to Vietnamese consumers. The first SLS AMG appeared in Hanoi in 2010 in the Fascination. It was a standard version priced at 8.4 billion VND and was bought by a mogul shortly after.

The recent SLS AMG is equipped with a 6.3L V8 AMG Turbo engine capable of producing 563HP at 6.800rpm and 650 Nm in torque at 4.750rpm, together with a 7-speed automatic transmission AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT and a paddle shift. The car takes just 3.7 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h and 11.2 seconds from 0 to 200km/h before reaching its maximum speed of 317km/h.
