North Vietnam to be key market for Peugeot

With over 400 Peugeot delivered in the country since the beginning of 2016 (and half of them were in the North), Thaco has decided that the region will be an area of importance for the company in conquering consumers with European-quality products.

After 2 years of presence in the market, Hanoi in particular and the North in general has always seen stable growth from Peugeot. The 3008 and 508 are particularly 2 fan-favorite models in the region and both have received numerous positive feedbacks from customers. So what is the reason behind Peugeot’s success in the North?

The first reason is design. The French carmaker used to be known as quite conservative. However, in recent years, its models such as 208, 508 or 3008 have received substantial changes, especially in subtle visual details, luxurious interior and more comfortable and exciting driving experience.

Another reason is the expansion of the brand in the country. Particularly in the market in the North, Peugeot has made its debut in 4 cities/provinces namely Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Quang Ninh and Vinh and the list will soon be expanded again. The brand is also one of the (very) few European carmaker to have a showroom system covering almost all of the Northern region nowadays. This not only provides easier access to its vehicles but also brings peace of mind to its customers as repair/maintenance services are much more accessible.

Finally, price. No matter how beautiful a car is, how easily accessible its accompanied services are, a high price will be a major obstacle in its process to conquer customers. As of Peugeot, the brand has always introduced incentives and discounts to help customers to purchase its vehicles at the most reasonable price.
