Luxgen to open 1st dealer in Hanoi

On March 26, through its official distributor Kylin-GX668, Luxgen officially opened its new showroom in Hanoi at 127 Nguyen Van Cu, Gia Lam. The brand also introduces the HRSS chassis on current Luxgen models.

The showroom is designed under Luxgen’s standards with “simple yet modern” category in mind. The first floor is used for display area while the workshop and office is on the 2nd floor.

Luxgen will offer 3 models in Vietnam in the near future, including the 5-seater crossover U6 Turbo ECO HYPER, the 7-seater SUV U7 Turbo and the MPV M7 Turbo.

U7 Turbo will compete with other models in the 7-seater SUV segment in Vietnam nowadays such as Kia Sorento, Ford Everest or Toyota Fortuner… The Luxgen SUV is equipped with a 2.2L turbocharged engine capable of producing 175 hp as well as a 2WD or 4WD depends on customers’ desire… U7’s main equipments include electronic hand brake, blind spot detection, pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, night vision and 360-degree camera.

Meanwhile, the U6 Turbo ECO HYPER is hyped to bring a refreshing wind to the crossover segment thanks to its unique and youthful design. Featuring a 1.8L (or 2.0L) engine, Luxgen Vietnam will pit its crossover against Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5 or Chevrolet Captiva… Its official price has not yet been announced but an internal source stated that it will be more or less at 880 million VND.

The biggest of the 3 – the MPV M7 Turbo features interior and exterior somewhat similar to the Honda Odyssey – also a direct competitor. Spacious and comfortable interior is said to be the MPV’s best strength and similar to Odyssey, the 2nd-row seats are also designed business-like. The electronic rear doors also feature anti-jamming technology.

Also at the opening ceremony, Luxgen introduced the HRSS chassis to Vietnam customers for the first time with additional display for visitors to firsthand see and experience the highly safety platform… Also according to Luxgen Vietnam, the chassis is designed to absorb and disperse the impacting force in order to minimize the risk of injury for vehicle occupants in the event of collision.

Right after its opening, Luxgen Hanoi will implement many promotions for customers purchasing any vehicles at the showroom. All Luxgen vehicles come with 3-year or 100.000 km warranty.

Luxgen as of now is still a relatively unknown name to most Vietnamese customers. The brand is, in fact, the largest Taiwan automaker, founded in 2008 by Yuton Group. The Group has been involved in auto manufacturing since 1953 and is now the biggest automaker in Taiwan with large-scale plant in China, Philippines, Egypt, Russia and Taiwan with annual production reached 2 million units.
