Ford Vietnam’s May to break record

With 932 vehicles delivered to customers in May, Ford Vietnam has officially announced that the month saw the highest sales ever of the company.

Retail sales of Ford Vietnam increased by 51% in May. Ford Transit, Ranger and Fiesta were the key products that contributed to the month’s impressive growth. Ford Transit maintained its dominance in the commercial car segment with 316 units sold, 127% up compared to April.

Ford Ranger, once again, was in the leading position in the pickup truck segment as its sales reached 308 units, 130% up compared to the previous month. Fiesta’s sales also raised by 16% compared to the same period last year, reaching its highest sales since 2012 September. Since the beginning of the year, Fiesta’s sales has reached 531 units, 37% up compared to 2013.

Đã có 123 chiếc Ford Fiesta EcoBoost được giao đến tay khách hàng Việt Nam trong tháng 5/2014.

The raise of key products in May helped Ford Vietnam to increase its market share to 7.7%, 1.3% up compared to the same period last year.

“We continued to achieve significant progress in our One Ford plan. Our strong revenue has somewhat reflected increased attention of customers on Ford products, while at the same time strengthened Ford’s leading position in Vietnam”, said Metelo Arias, Ford Vietnam’s General Director.

As impressive business result took place consecutively, Ford has gradually solidified its position in Vietnam’s automobile market.
