Ford Vietnam closed its Q3 business with yet another successful month, scoring 1.888 vehicles (a 36% increase) and breaking its own record.
With a new monthly sales record of 1.888 set in Spetember, Ford’s Q3 sales reached 4.646 units, an increase of 17% compared to the same period last year.
Mr. Pham Van Dung, Ford Vietnam General Manager shared “The brand’s momentum is led by global-leading models, such as Ranger, EcoSport and Transit. Those have continuously attracted more and more customers across the country”.
As of the commercial vehicle Transit, it just set a new record in September with 460 units sold (36% up). The reason is simple: more businesses require the reliability, utility and values that Transit offers.
The pickup Ranger also scored 79% higher retail sales equivalent to 822 units sold despite the new version was released just weeks ago.
The EcoSport achieved the highest rising rate at 82% (422 unit), thus bringing its total sales in 2015 to 1.097 units (up 43%). However, the compact vehicle is expected to face increasing challenges from new models such as Renault Duster or Hyundai Creta.
