First review of entry-level Kengo R250 in Vietnam

The highly affordable Kengo R250 with its 255cc engine is distributed in Vietnam at only 62 million VND.

Kengo R250 combines sportbike style with sport-city dimensions. Edgy lines make up the main theme of R250. Headlight kind of reminds us of the Suzuki Gixxer, featuring 2 halogen lights with 1 very modern bi-xenon light in between, while taillight feature LED technology. The length x width x height of Kengo R250 is respectively at 2.030 x 720 x 1.120 mm. Saddle height at 780 mm.

With sport-city dimension, R250’s handlebar is raised quite high to provide a better, more comfortable sitting posture. The 16L fuel tank is placed quite high with a somewhat muscular look. LED DRLs and fog lights are placed on the 2 sides.

R250’s dashboard is a combination between analog clocks and monocolor screen. Front shock damper and rear mono-spring damper are available.

Kengo R250 employs a 255cc single-cylinder air-and-liquid-cooled engine, which is able to generate 16 kW (21 hp) at 8.000 rpm and 17 Nm at 6.000 rpm. The suggested retail price of R250 in Vietnam is at 62 million VND – a very affordable one for those who would like to try a cheap sportbike.
