Closer look of the first and only MV Agusta F4 RC 2015 in Vietnam

After an impressive debut in Europe this year, the superbike was imported into Vietnam by the Motor Ken – Dong Den showroom.

MV Agusta F4 RC 2015 is the latest generation of the F4-Series. RC stands for Reparto Corse, which means “racing vehicle parts”. MV Agusta F4 RC 2015 features impressive equipments such as carbon body, full titanium exhaust, monolithic aluminum alloy wheel, magnesium engine block and lithium-ion batteries. All these details help lower the superbike’s weight down 15kg compared to its predecessor, the F4 RR.

F4 RC makes use of a 998cc I4 engine capable of generating 205.5 hp at 13.450 rpm and 115 Nm at 9.600 rpm. With curb weight at about 183 kg, the superbike can reach up to 302km/h. Engine’s capacity can be further enhanced by the use of Termignono exhaust (to 212 hp). The one imported into Vietnam uses the default 4-pipe one.

Accessories will later be imported with titanium Termignono dual exhaust along with ECU with capacity chart specifically for the exhaust and finally carbon fiber solo-saddle. Those accessories further lower F4 RC’s weight to 175 kg.

With or without those accessories, Agusta F4 RC 2015 is still the most powerful superbike in the market, surpassing the 201hp Aprilla RSV4 RR, the 199hp BMW S1000 RR, the 205hp Ducati 1299 Panigale R. Its driver assist system is also no joke, which includes Traction Control, Brembo brake +ABS Bosch 9, Ohlins shock absorbers, Rear Wheel Lit Control and Quick Shifter. Agusta F4 RC 2015 is limited, as only 250 units are ever produced. Price of one is around 46.000 USD.

Up to now, there is only one Agusta F4 RC 2015 imported into Vietnam, being the 147^th in 250. Agusta F4 RC 2015’s expected price in Vietnam is at 1.3 billion VND.
