[VMS] 34.470 visitors and 194 cars sold on the opening day

The Vietnam Motor Show 2014 (VMS 2014) has welcomed 34.470 visitors on its first 2 days with 194 car contracts completed right on the first day open to the public.

After 10 exhibitions with expanding scale, VMS has truly become an annual festival for car enthusiasts. VMS 2014 – “Passion reunion”, with the participation of 18 brands, promises to be an important boost that positively pushes the market and Vietnam’s auto industry forward.

The information on products’ superior technologies and comfort is display on large, highly-interactive screens. It can be said that with the introduction of nearly 20 new models, VMS has arguably become the most prominent within Vietnam’s auto events.

Spread over a 12.000-meter area, 18 brands have brought their products here at 15 booths, 9 from which are VAMA members (Ford, GM – Chevrolet, Hino, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Suzuki, Toyota, Vinastar – Mitsubishi, FUSO) and 9 are imported-car brands (Audi, BMW & MINI Cooper, Land Rover & Jaguar, Porsche, Nissan & Infiniti, Lexus).

VMS 2014 is expected to attract 150.000 visitors in 3 days, from November 21^st to November 23^rd.
