[VIMS 2016] Volvo to bring its top sedan to Vietnam

With starting price expected to be at 2,36 billion VND, Volvo S90 will compete with rivals such as the BMW 5-Series, Mercedes E-Class or Audi A6 in Vietnam.

First debuted at Detroit Auto show in 2016, the sedan S90 2017 was a breakthrough in the design of both exterior and interior space. From the exterior design to the interior of the Volvo S90 are designed in a minimalist but still gives the impression of elegance and courtesy.

Impressive features from the outside of Volvo S90 is the pair of LED daytime running lights with hammer shape that bring healthy and accents for the front end, making it a whole lot more modern-looking than other new Volvo vehicles of the same generation. In addition, the roof is designed with a soft-touch and modern feeling, strikingly similar to coupe cars.

S90 rear tail-influenced design was evident from Volvo Coupe Concept that was unveiled at the Frankfurt Auto Show 2013. The breakthrough of the S90 type also includes a grille bearing the new design language Volvo, the XC90 is similar to 2016.

Interior highlights of the S90 is also quite similar to the XC90 SUV, including the leather seats simple elegance combined with a 9 inch touch screen along. Danish timber details dotted the entire body, combined with some contrasting metal lines. Sound system of the S90 Bowers & Wilkins from advanced firms, for superb sound quality.

Volvo’s engine model S90 is the kind of supercharged 4-cylinder with a capacity of 2 liters, for 250 horsepower capacity at 5,500 rpm and torque of 348 Nm at maximum reach from 1,500 to 4,800 rpm. Combined with that is a level 8-speed automatic transmission and front-drive system.

Volvo S90 will be unveiled at the Vietnam International Motor Show 2016 in Ho Chi Minh City later this month.
