Vietnam Motor Show 2015 to convey the message “Life in Motion”

The largest auto show in Vietnam – the Vietnam Motor Show, which will reach its 11th anniversary this year, will be held from October 28th to November 1st, 2015 at the Saigon Exhibition and Conference Centre. It is also the first Motor Show that does not feature auto importers as they have had their own auto show now, which also will be held in October.

According to the organizers, the 11th Vietnam Motor Show will not be held in Hanoi due to no appropriate place, thus it will remain to be held in HCM city. The Vietnam Motor Show 2015 conveys the message “Life in Motion”, which emphasizes the important role of a car in nowadays life and describes it as a close friend of family and each individual, not a luxurious item.

Mr. Michael Behrens, Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam and also member of VAMA executive board said “This year’s exhibition will be an opportunity for VAMA members to reaffirm their commitments for sustainable development in Vietnam. We also want to make car an essential part of the daily lives and works of people, improve traffic safety and indirectly improve their living quality…”

Vietnam Motor Show 2015 is held on a 15.000m2 area featuring 11 VAMA members and their locally assembled or imported vehicles from 16 different brands. The display booths there are designed magnificently for brands that also took part in the last Vietnam Motor Show, such as Chevrolet (GM), Ford, FUSO, Hino, Honda, Infiniti, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, Suzuki and Toyota…

Vietnam Motor Show 2015 will see the departure of some brands as well as the emergence of others. Truong Hai Auto (Thaco) will appear for the first time at the event featuring Mazda, Kia and Peugeot models while Do Thanh Auto with Hyundai vehicles will also make their debut. Meanwhile, brands that import CBU cars will no longer be there, such as BMW, Audi or Range Rover… because they have had their own show now. The auxiliary industry this year will be given a separate 2.000 m2 area.

Also at the press conference for the 15^th anniversary of VAMA, Mr. Michael Behrens stated that another press conference will be held to provide more details of the Vietnam Motor Show 2015.
