Toyota Vietnam to achieve seemingly unstoppable growth

In July 2015, sales volume of Toyota vehicles reached 4,551 units, increased 21% (792 units) compared to the same month last year, in which the North consumed 2,123 units (47%), the Centre consumed 582 units (12%), and the South consumed 1,846 units (41%). This is the highest sales volume since the beginning of the year, showing the efforts of the TMV and all Dealers nationwide in improving supply and delivery operation to serve customers better and better.

In July 2015, sales volume of passenger cars segment reached 2,548 units, increase 14% compared to the same month last year. Leading position in passenger car segment is still the Vios new generation 2015 with 1,281 sold units in July, this is the highest level since the beginning of the year, up 16% compare with same period last year. Subsequently the Altis new generation 2015 continue to receive the attention of the customers who prefer the young, dynamic, sporty and exciting driving experience, with sales reaching 504 vehicles, up 24% over the same period last year. Camry 2015 also received very kind responses from customer with new design base on Modern Elegant and advanced performance with 496 sold units. Thus, after more than 3 months of launch, more than 1,700 Camry 2015 has delivered to customers.

For commercial vehicles segment, in July 2015, the sales volume reached 2,003 units, increase 31% compare to the same month last year. Innova and Fortuner continue over the target with sales volume reached 969units and 850 units; respectively, in July, increasing 62% and 21% compared with the same month last year.

For CBU vehicles imported and distributed by TMV, the all-new Yaris continue leading position in this segment with sales volume in July reached 267 units. Besides, sale volumes of other CBU models are: Hilux 75 units, Hiace 37 units, Prado 26 units, Land Cruiser 46 units.

In July, although the demand for Lexus models still quite high, however, TMV could delivery 88 Lexus cars to customers due to limited supply. This figure brought the total Lexus sales in the first 7 months of the year up to 675 vehicles. Currently, Lexus Vietnam distribute total 7 models: 3 sedans ES350, GS350, LS460L and 4 SUV: RX350, LX570, GX460, NX200t through 2 official Dealers: Lexus Centre Sai Gon (HCM) and Lexus Thang Long (Hanoi).
