Mercedes AMG C63 S Edition 1 and G500 Edition 35 to be featured at VMS 2015

At the upcoming Vietnam Motor Show 2015 (VMS 2015), Mercedes-Benz will bring its super-sport sedan AMG C 63 S Edition 1 and the king of SUV G500 Edition 35.

AMG C63 S (W025) went viral after its launch not long ago among speed enthusiasts around the globe. The sport car has just made it to the Top 4 Best cars of 2015 awarded by Motor Trend. The version that MBV will bring to VMS 2015 is the special version Edition 1 (produced between 2015 and 2016 Feb) featuring an unique and strong Iridium Silver Matte paint job.

The heart of the sportscar is its V8 4.0L twinturbo engine inherited from its brother AMG GTS. As a result, Edition 1 can generate 510 hp and 700Nm at 1.750 rpm while accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 4 seconds. Moreover, an overall fuel consumption of 8,2L/100km helps Edition 1 earn the crown of efficiency in the segment of high performance cars with 8-cylinder engine.

Featuring alongside Edition 1 is the G500 Edition 35 – a special version of G-Class. A contrast appearance with general Mystic designo white paint job and black matte paint job on front/rear bumpers, rearview mirror, 5-spoke wheels and bonnet. Meanwhile, the SUV’s interior also generates a premium feeling thanks to designo leather and piano black wood trim.

Thanks to the V8 5.5L engine that is capable of producing 387 hp and 530 Nm, the 2,5-ton SUV can reach 100km/h from rest position in 6,1 seconds. The exhaust sound also creates a unique impression for Edition 35.

Along with these 2 special editions above, Mercedes-Benz Vietnam will certainly bring many more exciting models to this year’s VMS and also implement various appealing programs.
