Locally assembled Kia Grand Sedona started at 1.18 billion VND

On the 23^rd of November in Hanoi, Thaco officially unveiled the locally assembled Kia Grand Sedona to customers in the North. The New Grand Sedona will be offered with 2 engine versions: either a 3.3L petrol or a 2.2L diesel.

Thus, 6 months after selling the imported Grand Sedona, Thaco has decided to assemble the model in Vietnam under Kia Motor’s global standard because of its popularity.

Being a 7-seater MPV, Grand Sedona’s dimensions are quite huge, reaching 5.115 x 1.985 x 1.755 mm (L x W x H). Wheelbase and ground clearance is 3.060 and 163 mm respectively.

Grand Sedona’s front fascia features Kia’s signature tiger-nose grille. HID headlights and foglights both employ projector technologies. LED DRL, taillight and brakelight are also available along with 18-inch wheel coupled with R18 235/60 tires.

The 7-seater’s interior is quite spacious thanks to well-arranged, configurable seats. Details are modernly made while still aim at providing the greatest comfort for occupants even in long-distance journey.

The premium version will feature dual sunroof, 7-inch infotainment display, Infinity audio system, 3-zone climate control, electronic adjustable trunk lid, GPS-integrated DVD system…

Kia Grand Sedona will have 4 versions offered in Vietnam, 2 petrol and 2 diesel. The petrol versions are equipped with V6 3.3L Lambda MPI engine with max power and torque at 266 hp and 318 Nm, while the diesel versions make use of the I4 R-Line 2.2L VGT CRDi with max power and torque at 190 hp/440Nm. Standard 6-speed automatic transmission will accompany all versions.

Numerous driver assist/safety features are also available, including ABS/EBD/BAS, ESP, HAC, BSD, rearview camera, front/rear sensor, anti-jam door…

Kia Grand Sedona is potentially a threat to others in its segment thanks to perfect balance between affordability and capability.

On the occasion of Grand Sedona’s launch, Thaco will implement special incentive up to 50 million VND, including 1 year of hull warranty. Specific prices are as followed:
