GM Vietnam to introduce its all-new SUV at VMS 2015

At the press reference for the upcoming Vietnam Motor Show 2015, GM Vietnam has stated that it will introduce “an all-new SUV” to the Vietnam market. In addition, its highlight at the event will be none other than the Chevrolet Corvette.

Accordingly, in addition to the display of key products in Vietnam, Chevrolet will also bring new products to the event such as the new version of Cruze,  Colorado High Country, Corvette and the all-new, unnamed SUV.

The new Chevrolet Cruze was globally introduced not long ago. The sedan is a great combination of advantages of Impala and Malibu. The front fascia receives total redesign with sharp headlights and unique grille. Front/rear bumper, air diffuser and rear spoiler create a sporty appearance for Cruze, while the taillight provides a modern accent.

In the US Cruze employs an all-new 1.4L I-4 engine with 153 Hp and 240Nm, accompanied by a 6-speed auto or manual transmission that helps the car to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 8 seconds.

Meanwhile, the High Country is the premium version of Colorado. Compared to the standard version, High Country features addition black grille, polished B-pillar, High Country logo on the rear (right next to right taillight). Its power comes from the 2.8L Duramax engine under the bonnet with max power at 200hp and max torque at 500Nm. Accompanying the engine is a 6-speed automatic transmission and 2WD/4WD format.

In addition, the strong, sporty Corvette will also be featured at GM’s booth at VMS 2015. The Vietnam Motor Show 2015 will officially be opened from the 28^th of October to the 1^st of November, 2015 at the Saigon Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC), District 7, HCM city.
