30.000 vehicles imported into Vietnam in 2016′s 4 months

According to the General Department of Customs, the first 4 months of 2016 imports of cars on Vietnam reached 29,054 vehicles, equivalent to 732.7 million US dollars in value, this figure rose sharply over the same period last year.

Thailand ended 2015 ranked only 4th in the automobile exporter in Vietnam largest (after China, Korea and India), but since the beginning of 2016, the number of vehicles imported from Thailand has reached 10 155 vehicles, while the Korean market is the 5369 car (value: 89.7 million); China 4261 car (worth 162.3 million USD); Japanese car 2528 (105.1 million USD); 2363 Car India (22.8 million) … The amount of cars imported from Indonesia (one of the countries in ASEAN in) in the first 4 months of 2016 also increased to 943 vehicles, worth 11.8 million USD.

From day 01/01/2016, vehicles imported from ASEAN countries including Thailand have reduced the tax from 50% to 40%, then 30% in 2017 and 0% in 2018.
