Spending a weekend with Kawasaki

Taking place in just two days over the weekend of 20 and 21/08/2016, the journey took us to the coastal city of Phan Thiet, not only were we able to explore the city but we also got the opportunity to experience all Kawasaki’s product line in Vietnam including Touring, Sport-touring and Cruiser.

The journey began in HCM City at 6 a.m and along with us came the duo: Kawasaki Versys 650 and Vulcan 650 as well as the two newest recruits Versys 1000 and Ninja 1000. As the journey lasted only 2 days, we chose the coastal city of Phan Thiet, a close enough place and also a far enough one to fully feel the powerful steeds.

The coastal route was voted for as our group wanted to experience the beauty of nature (which is magnificent and too difficult to describe in words) and also the power of the machines from Japan. The 150 km of coastal roads did not provide any obstacle for us and we also did not travel too hurrily in order to get the best out of it and it took us.4 hours to arrive to our next destination. However, it was not enough to satisfy us and after a quick rest, we hastily came back to our way to continue to explore the city of Phan Thiet beyond.

It was also the time when our members exchanged vehicles to feel the power of other Kawasakis. Those provided a really unique experience: we are all quite familiar with Kawasaki’s 650cc naked bike but each trip provided us different experience. Position is gentle walking and sightseeing of driving agility Vulcan or Versys 650 always makes each of us enjoy. But senior rider Versys 1000 is different, it seems big guy does not succumb to any barrier ahead, your task is just to sit up and rider, everything remaining from 120hp engine block revealing.

For him 1000 aka Ninja Z1000 SX, why? Powerful and aggressive is the term used to refer to this car. At first glance most people initially thought the car but really pure sport is sport-city, the car was designed based on the chassis of the Z1000 naked bike and share some design with this brother as taillights , pairs of exhaust pipes … Z1000SX still use DOHC, 1043 cc 4-cylinder liquid-cooled, 142 hp power at 10,000 rpm rev / min, maximum torque of 111 Nm at 7,300 rev / min.

The next morning, the brothers gathered together up early to catch the same steed Kawasaki city sunrise over the sea. Then the whole group together to do a tour around the city and return to Ho Chi Minh City. This journey but only 02 days but it’s really hard to forget when our union brothers together and share experiences with each other about the vehicle and driver.
