Peugeot Hanoi to be visited by French mission

Earlier this week, senior officials from CP French and PSA Peugeot Citroen have visited the Hanoi Peugeot Showroom, one of the showrooms in Thaco’s Peugeot car distribution system.

Among them was Mrs. Fleur Pellerin – Minister of Foreign Trade in charge of foreign tourism promotion (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Development), Mr. Jean Noel Poirier – French Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary in Vietnam; Mr. Philippe Varin – Chairman of the PSA Peugeot Citroen group, along with a number of French businesses in Vietnam.

After visiting the facilities of the showroom, Mrs. Fleur Pellerin highly appreciated the investment and efforts of Thaco in developing a Peugeot distribution system in Vietnam.

She also had a short conversation with Mr. Bui Kim Kha – CEO of Thaco PC about the development process of the distribution system and was surprised by its pace, which was considered very fast in such a short time.

Up to now, Thaco has invested and put 7 showrooms into operation across the country. The figure is expected to rise to 13 by the end of the year.

Also during the meeting, Mrs. Fleur Pellerin stated that the collaboration between Thaco and PSD Peugeot Citroen was not just some business relationship between 2 corporations but rather a step toward a better trade and cultural relationship between 2 countries.
