Despite being unsuccessful in previous generations, the all-new Mazda CX-9 is expected to reap a lot of attention at VMS 2016 and later on.

At the Mazda booth at Vietnam Auto Show 2016, THACO brought CX-9 to play as a scouting tool in Vietnam. This is a full-size SUV with quite a few number of challenging opponents in the same segment: Toyota Prado, Ford Explorer and so on…

Mazda CX-9 is considered tto be a breakthrough in all aspects, from design to engine and technology. Carrying the modern KODO design language with sharp curves, the full-sized SUV emits an elegant and luxurious aura.

The CX-9 version brought to Vietnam has many features removed. Even the multi-spoke alloy wheels of the car just stopped at 18 inches, smaller than the 19-inch wheels of the Mazda CX-5. Besides, the power button to close the trunk was also omitted.

Go into the interior space inside the car Mazda CX-9 is a bright beige tones highlight. As an SUV-size seats inside the car are very spacious and comfortable. The rear seats can be adjusted with independent conditioning control.

Located under the hood of the CX-9 car is SKYACTIV-G petrol engine capacity of 2.5 liters, with a maximum capacity of 250 kW and 420 Nm of torque which goes along with a 6-speed automatic gearbox. CX-9 has two optional choices front-drive or 4-wheel drive (AWD).

With the new engine, the Mazda CX-9 promises to bring a fuel-saving capability advantages that Vietnam still has great strength. The excessive fuel consumption which used to be the major drawback of the V6 engine in the CX-9 vehicle generation earlier in Vietnam.

Like the CX-3 models, the price for full-size SUV CX-9 has not yet been revealed THACO. If it is priced well, CX-9 promises to have great potential in the segment.
