Toyota Vietnam to organize first “Toyota Vocational Scholarship Program”

Accordingly, “Toyota Vocational Scholarship Program” is a program to support vocational training within 2 years for students who have graduated from high school, have good studying performance, but have difficulty to cover tuition fees (including study materials), daily allowance (food, accommodation, daily activities) and look for a job. Cooperating with HCMUTE, Lotus Impact Foundation & Dariu Foundation, in the first year of implementation, the program will select 25 students who meet the condition to officially become the first students generation of this training program.

Toyota Vocational Scholarship Program will have well-designed and comprehensive training content. Beside standard training contents, the program also organize English, IT, soft skills, communication skills training courses for the trainees to have full and comprehensive knowledge and skills, helping them to easily approach good job opportunity for a better and stable life in the future.

Especially, the trainees will also be trained with automotive technical training materials, which has been using for Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP – the program that TMV has been organizing from 2001 and has been implementing in 6 T-TEP centers in 5 universities and colleges nationwide), as well as to help the students after graduated to approach job opportunities in TMV dealers, in TMV partners and organizing agencies,… This can be considered as the differences of the program compared to other vocational training programs.

For a stable development of the program, Toyota Vocational Scholarship program will provide a non-refundable aid for each trainee, equal to 50% of total training and accommodation fee within 2 training years, and provide a loan of the other 50%  with very preferential interest rate. The student will have responsibility to pay back this loan within 3 years after graduating.
