TMV delivered more than 4.500 vehicles in April

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) just announces, in Apr 2016, total sales volume of Toyota vehicles reached 4.537 units,increased nearly 14% (equal to 547 units) compare to April of 2015.

Especially, in April, TMV also welcomed the line-off of the 350.000^th car in TMV plant, raised accumulated sales of TMV through 20 years up to approximately 373.000 units. A big contribution to achieve this production and sales result is thanks to the trust and love from Vietnamese consumers for Toyota Vietnam.

In April 2016, sales volume of passenger cars segment reached 2.116 units, increased 2%compare to the same month last year: Vios continued taking the leading position in the segment with sales volume at 1.195 units, taking the second place was Camry with 410 units. Up to this April, after 1 year since its debut, the new Camry achieved accumulated sales reached nearly 6.000 units, showing its continuous attraction of this all new sedan for successful businessmen.

For commercial vehicles segment, in April 2016, sales volume reached 2.421 units, increased nearly 27% compare to the same month of 2015. In which, the MPV Innova achieved sales at 1.088 car units, keep leading position in the market. Fortuner also achieved sales at 863 car units.

In April, almost all CBU vehicles imported and distributed by TMV has good growth with total sales reached 675 car units, increased 58% compare to same month last year. In which, Yaris continued leading position in the segment with 205 units, then  Hilux 181 units, Land Prado 121 units, Land Cruiser 100 units and Hiace 68 units.

In April 2016, there were total 152 Lexus cars delivered to customers in country wide, increased nearly 69% compare to April of 2015 and increased 8% compare to previous month. A big contribution to this is the launching of RX model from the beginning of this year. So, accumulated sales in the first 4 months of 2016 of Lexus in Vietnam reached 660 car units, increased 79% compare to same period last year.
