From November 1^st, 2014, fuel stations in Da Nang city will sell E5 biofuel instead of Mogas 92. E5 will be sold in parallel with Mogas 95.

Accordingly, while waiting for the State’s policy, Petrolimex will have a specific price for E5 RON 92 for stations, agents and dealers distributing E5 biofuel (replacing Mogas 92).

E5 RON 92 will have a 200VND/liter discount for stations and the cost of replacing equipments (to distribute E5) will be covered by Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited (BSR).

Reportedly, there are 61 gasoline businesses in Da Nang with 95 stations and 24 diesel trains. 4 major businesses in Da Nang includes MTV JSC in Sector 5, PV Oil in the Central region in Da Nang, Petroleum Corporation of Army in Sector 2 and Hoa Khanh Co., Ltd.

It is expected that the demand for E5 in Da Nang, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai in October will be 8.000 – 10.000 m3 and 12.000 – 14.000 in November. Currently BSR is working with other agencies to ensure the mixing and distribution of E5 to meet the market’s need reliably.
