The Ducati Driving Experience 2015 was officially held by Ducati Vietnam on the 25th and 26th of July in Hanoi, featuring international training experts from the brand.
This is the first time the Italian sportbike brand formally organized a training course to improve the driving skills of its customers in Vietnam, which included bikers who already owned Ducati sportbikes in particular and sportbike enthusiasts in general. The training program was also supported and agreed upon by the National Traffic Safety Committee.
DRE 2015 featured dedicated guidance from the expert Henry Iu who are from the Ducati Asia-Pacific coaching team. Henry iu has had over 40 years of experience in training driving skills for customers around the world. Not only did he guided participants on how to drive Ducati sportbike in the safest and most suitable way, he also did a fantastic job in inspiring his Ducati spirit to participating bikers.
DRE featured training sessions in intermediate level, which included proper sitting posture, how and where to put your foot on when driving for the most comfortable, flexible feeling and how to relax your hands to properly handle unexpected situations…
Specifically, those sessions included: Driving posture, Braking practice, Low-speed handling, Zig-zag shape running and cornering. A lot of bikers participating in the event were surprised to know that their driving postures and skills were improper for a long time.
Some sportbikes that participants can expect to be available at DRE 2015 included Hyperstrada, Monster 821, Monster 795, Multistrada 1200…
The Driving Experience expresses Ducati Vietnam’s commitment to invest in Vietnam in the future. Other similar events are also expected from the company to provide more training sessions for Vietnamese bikers who would very appreciate to be taught the skills to handle their vehicles well in even the most unexpected situations.
