2015 proven to be hugely successful for Mercedes-Benz Vietnam

Mercedes-Benz Vietnam (MBV) achieved the most successful year ever since its establishment in 1995 with 3.600 cars sold last year. This number breaks the all-time record of the premium auto market in the country.

With a growth of 50%, Vietnam is one of 3 fastest growing markets of Mercedes-Benz in Asia. Besides, with customer-orientation in all activities, MBV gained many achievements in its 20^th anniversary.

To celebrate the 20^th anniversary, MBV launched 20 new products making the most diversified premium line-up to Vietnamese customers. These products play an important role in achieving the new records in Jan, May, June, July & Sep. 2015 is the best year ever of MBV, with the best first-half & the best second-half as well.

The C-Class is the best-selling car of MBV as well as the premium market. With more than1.500 cars sold and growth rate of 256 %, the new C-Class is not only the market leader with more than 70% share, but also the one to attract many customers upgrading from mass vehicles.

With valuable enhancements from mid-2015, the E-Class remains as the most favorite mid-size sedan in Vietnam with more than 60% market share and sales of 710 vehicles. The E-Class has always been the key product of MBV: the first car to be assembled in Vietnam and the only to have a 20^th anniversary special edition.

In 2015, the S-Class continues to affirm its “the best car in the world” reputation with more than 450 cars handed over to owners, which accounts for over 80% share of its flagship playground. The S-Class is the choice of famous artists in Vietnam… The S-Class is also the VIP shuttles at top 5-star hotels and resorts in Vietnam such as The Reverie,  Park Hyatt Saigon, InterContinental, Vinpearl, Nam An Retreat,…

Compacts of the Star won the hearts of customers with 450 orders in 2015. In which, the GLA is one of the most successful CBU ever with 290 units. SUV segment also witnessed the success of MBV. Just after 2 months after being launched at VMS 2015, more than 100 orders for the GLE variants were reported. The large-size GL also received up to 3-digit orders. In 2016, the brand will further expand the market presence with its full SUV line-up.

Mercedes-AMG continues to be the sporty icon of speed enthusiasts in Vietnam. Stunning cars like Mercedes-AMG like the GT S/GT S Edition 1 & C 63 S Edition 1 soon found their passionate owners right after launched.

In 2015, MBV attempted to enhance the customer satisfaction with numerous investments & achievements in many fields.

In terms of product, besides the diversified line-up, MBV applied state-of-the-art technologies to serve customers at higher lever, in which the COLLISION PREVENTION ASSIST PLUS and the 9G-TRONIC are key highlights.

The brand invested nearly USD 2 mil to upgrade 7 outlets with the new brand CI & modern facilities (the rest 4 outlets to come in 2016). The pre-owned authorized vehicles outlets Proven Exclusivity was setup along the country, including Hanoi, Hai Phong, Danang, Nha Trang and HCMC, bringing the Stars much more approachable and affordable to customers.

In terms of After-Sales,  the “My choice. My service” program offers enhanced service experiences in luxury lounges, express service stations, mobility solutions and economic offers during special hours. In addition, customers can purchase the extended warranty packages, 12 or 24 months extension with the Bumper-to-Bumper manufacturer component coverage, applied for both new & used cars.

The company organized the first-ever Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week under the theme “20 Years of Cars with Stars in Vietnam” event. This fashion week took place from 26^th – 30^th August 2015 attracting more than 10.000 visits of the public in Hanoi. The event showcases 20 “three-pointed Stars” with a spectacular fashion experience combining of Mercedes-Benz cars and performances.

Mercedes-Benz is the No.1 partner of top 5-Star hotels & resorts in Vietnam as taking 80% market share of this potential business. Besides the ideal shuttle vehicle – the E-Class, many hotels & resorts now invested in the S-Class & the V-Class for their fleet. Especially, Park Hyatt Saigon is the first hotel in Vietnam to own the ultra-luxury Mercedes-Maybach S 600 as their VIP chauffeur limousine.

In 2015, Vietnam won the Nation Cup of MercedesTrophy 2015 as the North Asia team together with Hong Kong & Taiwan. This is the greatest achievement of MBV after 13 years organizing this premium life-style platform in Vietnam. In the 14^th season, MercedesTrophy brought the luck to 3 customers right from the Qualifying rounds with 3 Mercedes-Benz cars as HIO prizes.

In one sentence, MBV had a memorable 20^th anniversary, with the biggest success is customer satisfaction.
