On the 3rd of March, Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) in cooperation with Ministry of Education & Training (MOET), Ho Chi Minh Department of Education & Training and Traffic Safety Committee organized the “Traffic Safety Festival for primary pupils and teachers in the school year 2016-2017” in Ho Chi Minh city.
This activity is within the framework of Toyota Traffic Safety Education Program (TSEP) with the purpose of traffic safety education for primary pupils nationwide. Through implementing TSEP over the last 11 years, TMV desires to join hands to build up a better traffic safety culture in Vietnam.
Since school year 2007-2008, the “Traffic Safety Festival for primary pupils and teachers” has been organized annually in 2 forms: provincial and national level. This activity has always received active participation and responses from pupils and teachers. At the same time, it has become one of the practical activities to promote the socialization and enhance the role of local education and training level in traffic safety education for primary pupils. Until now, there have been 68 provincial traffic safety festivals and 8 national festivals conducted at provinces/cities nationwide.
This year, the festival continues to be held in 8 provinces and cities including: Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Hai Duong, Khanh Hoa, Hochiminh city and Tra Vinh during Feb-Mar 2017. Especially, there is also active involvement of 4 TMV dealers in local TSEP organization in 4 provinces, cities including Toyota Bac Ninh (Bac Ninh); Toyota Hai Duong (Hai Duong), Toyota Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa) and Toyota Ben Thanh (Hochiminh city). This is the new point of the festival and shows the positive effort and contribution to the community of not only TMV but also TMV dealers in Vietnam.
With the target to continuously innovate and increase the quality of program, the contents with high practicality continue to be enhanced to help students easier to apply received knowledge and skills at school in real traffic situations.
